Information on the website is correct at the time of publication. Waiheke Walking Festival reserves the right to withdraw, replace or substitute events without notice.

Every effort has been made to provide accurate information about the walks on offer i.e. level of difficulty, duration, elevation etc, however the Waiheke Walking Trust reserves the right to make changes to walks and information about the walks where this is necessary. We will communicate these changes to those who have registered for the affected walk via email.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to festival events at the discretion of festival staff.

All walks are FREE but may have associated costs e.g. transport charters or wine tasting. Where the walk is predominantly focused on an additional cost item, i.e. wine-themed walk, we will charge for these tastings as part of the walk booking process.

All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking.

All walk bookings are subject to confirmation. Once you have completed the checkout process and have finalised your booking you will receive a confirmation email. Your booking is not complete until you have received this email.

Associated products or services that incur a cost require full payment at time of purchasing these products.

All payments are to be made in New Zealand dollars and incur a 3.5% booking fee. All prices include GST (15%). Prices are subject to change without notice.

Purchases of products may be refunded (less booking fee) up to 10 working days prior to the commencement of the Waiheke Walking Festival. No refunds will be given for cancellations after this time. Requests for refunds must be emailed to info@waihekewalkingfestival.org.

If you have made payment by Credit Card, the name that will appear on your statement will be Waiheke Walking Trust.

Our health and safety procedures require all walkers to sign a declaration form prior to each walk that confirms you have no medical issues that would place you or the group at an unreasonable level of risk during the walk. You will need to wear a numbered sticker to confirm you have signed this declaration. Waiheke Walking Festival Guides and Volunteers maintain the right to request that you not participate in the walk if they have concerns for your safety or the safety of the wider group.

Dogs are welcome on walks that are identified as dog-friendly walks. For all other walks we kindly ask you to leave your dogs at home, you will not be able to join us on these walks if you have a dog/s accompanying you.
